About the Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home care agency in a part-time salaried leadership and care-coordination role. This position combines clinical nursing responsibilities with caregiver management, client intake, staff development, and business growth.
The ideal candidate is an experienced RN who is comfortable working independently, communicating with clients and families, managing caregivers, and helping grow a home health business through excellent service and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities
Client Intake & Clinical Assessment
  • Conduct initial client intake assessments to determine care needs and appropriate services
  • Evaluate client needs and develop recommendations for appropriate in-home care
  • Communicate with clients, families, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team
  • Ensure client information and documentation are accurate, complete, and maintained appropriately
  • Monitor client needs and make recommendations for changes in care when necessary
Caregiver Recruitment & Hiring
  • Recruit and interview prospective caregivers
  • Assist with caregiver screening, hiring, and onboarding
  • Evaluate caregiver qualifications, experience, and suitability for individual client needs
  • Maintain appropriate caregiver records and documentation
Caregiver Training & Management
  • Provide orientation and training to new caregivers
  • Ensure caregivers understand client-specific care plans, expectations, and agency policies
  • Manage and supervise caregivers assigned to clients
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support
  • Address caregiver concerns and performance issues professionally and promptly
  • Help ensure consistent, high-quality care for clients
Client & Care Coordination
  • Serve as a clinical resource for clients, families, and caregivers
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and appropriate delivery of services
  • Identify changes in client condition or care needs and communicate appropriately with healthcare professionals
  • Help resolve service issues and maintain strong client relationships
  • Responds to emergency situations
Marketing & Business Development
  • Participate in marketing efforts to generate new home health clients
  • Build relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, senior communities, and community organizations
  • Represent the agency professionally at networking events and community outreach activities
  • Help develop strategies to increase client referrals and agency growth
  • Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction, referrals, and retention
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Previous home health, case management, supervisory, or geriatric nursing experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively recruit, train, supervise, and manage caregivers
  • Professional, compassionate, and dependable
  • Comfortable with community outreach, networking, and marketing activities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 
  • This position requires in-office and in the field
