San Carlos Park, Fort Myers, FL | Specialized ALS Care

Are you a night owl who loves making a difference?

Executive Home Care of Fort Myers is looking for experienced, dependable HHAs and CNAs to provide overnight care for a client living with ALS in the San Carlos Park area.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled caregiver who enjoys longer shifts, one-on-one care, and making a meaningful difference in someone's comfort and quality of life.

IMPORTANT: This is an AWAKE overnight position. Caregivers must remain awake, alert, and available throughout the entire 12-hour shift.

Schedule

12-hour overnight shifts
Specific days and hours to be confirmed
Consistent availability preferred

What You'll Do

Remain awake and attentive throughout the overnight shift
Assist with turning and repositioning for comfort and pressure relief
Provide hands-on assistance with toileting and personal hygiene
Assist with safe transfers and mobility as outlined in the care plan
Monitor and respond to the client's comfort and personal care needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable personal living space
Communicate changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate care team

What We're Looking For

Qualified HHA or CNA with hands-on caregiving experience
Experience with transfers, turning, and positioning required
Experience caring for bedbound or mobility-limited clients preferred
ALS or neurological care experience is a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
Dependable, compassionate, attentive, and comfortable working independently
Must be able to remain awake and alert for the full 12-hour shift

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
