Senior Caregiver / CNA
Executive Home Care (EHC) in Conway, AR, is hiring a dependable and experienced Senior Caregiver / CNA to provide high-quality in-home care and serve as a key support member of our caregiving and scheduling team. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who is comfortable stepping into urgent coverage situations, assisting with caregiver support and training, and working with clients who require a higher level of care and attention.
As a vital part of our compassionate team, you will help ensure continuity of care for our clients while supporting operational success behind the scenes. This position plays an important role in maintaining quality standards, supporting caregivers in the field, and ensuring clients continue receiving exceptional care even during unexpected staffing changes. Responsibilities:
Provide direct personal care and companionship services to clients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, transfers, and meal preparation.
Respond to caregiver call-outs and assist with urgent or last-minute shift coverage to ensure continuity of client care.
Assist the Care Coordinator and office team with onboarding support, caregiver shadowing, training assistance, and mentorship for new caregivers as needed.
Support clients with more advanced or complex care needs while maintaining professionalism, patience, and compassion.
Observe and report changes in client condition, routines, behaviors, or safety concerns promptly and accurately document all care provided.
Provide medication reminders and follow individualized care plans according to company policies and client needs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients through light housekeeping and organization.
Provide safe transportation and accompaniment to appointments, errands, and community activities when needed.
Serve as a positive role model within the caregiver team by demonstrating reliability, professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
Work collaboratively with office staff, caregivers, clients, and family members to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
Active CNA license required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional caregiving experience required.
Experience working with clients requiring higher levels of care, including mobility assistance, dementia care, or complex care needs preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance required.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and client needs.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with office staff and fellow caregivers.
Shifts Available:
- Full-time
- Weekday and weekend availability preferred in the event of urgent coverage need
- On-call or flexible availability for urgent coverage situations preferred
