Position Overview
Executive Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide one-on-one support to seniors in their homes. This role is ideal for caregivers who are patient, attentive, and committed to helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
The caregiver will reside in the client’s home during scheduled shifts and provide assistance with daily living activities, companionship, and safety supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, dishes, tidying client areas)
- Provide medication reminders (no administration unless licensed)
- Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments and outings if required
- Monitor and report changes in condition to the care coordinator
- Maintain accurate daily care notes and communication logs
Work Schedule
- Live-in assignment in the client’s home
- Private sleeping accommodations provided
- Scheduled sleep period and daily personal breaks in accordance with state and federal labor guidelines
Requirements
- Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, or CNA preferred
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation A MUST
- Ability to pass Level 2 background screening
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States
