Qualifications

Active California Home Care Aide registration
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous caregiving or related experience preferred
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and work well within a team

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Provide medication reminders as prescribed
Support meal preparation while encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
Offer companionship and social support, including escorting clients to appointments
Monitor client conditions, report changes, and document care provided
