Key Responsibilities
· Support clients with everyday tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation.
· Offer companionship and emotional encouragement to promote well-being.
· Dispense prescribed medications and keep track of clients’ health status.
· Ensure clients’ surroundings are clean, safe, and comfortable.
· Keep accurate records of the care provided and report any changes in clients’ condition.
· Work together with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver thorough care.
· Take part in ongoing training programs to improve caregiving skills.
· Follow all health and safety guidelines to protect clients’ safety.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; home care certification is a plus.
· Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is highly valued.
· Must be compassionate, patient, and genuinely interested in helping others.
· Strong communication and people skills are essential.
· Successful completion of background and drug screenings is necessary.
· Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
· Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
· CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
